Bill,

We could answer this better if we knew what type of lawns you were mowing.. Do you need to get thur gates or need to mow large areas Ect.

I have been cutting small 1/4 acre sized yards with no gates!

Brand is not exactly irrelevant but it is not the first question that has to be answered. Follow this link and think about the content there. I know it is a lengthy read but I hope it helps.

When you have decided for certain that you want a certain type of mower, etc, then you can start thinking about brand. Like was said before me, you need to know things like will there be gates, etc. I think the obstacles part is the one of the few topics missing from the original list.

I may add that to the topic when I get a chance.

Its not always about what you are cutting now, but do you think that your future customers may have gates to deal with? or bigger yards? just something to think about.

Think about deck width and the topics discussed in the link I posted in my last post. Then we can talk about brand.
