Congrats, i was on the news before when I received my 3000$ Summer Company Grant in 2006. I don't know if I can find a clip of that somewhere but I wish I could.

Can you give us some insight into all of this? How did the press find out about your community involvement? Did you send them out a press release?

What kind of reaction have you gotten since that went out on the air?

Yeah, I should've given more details. I had an ad on craigslist offering free lawn service to anyone disabled/ old, etc who couldn't afford it and also the "GreenCare for Troops" that I learned about from this forum. Someone from the news channel saw it and called me and asked to do the story. Of course I said yes! I recieved lots of calls from people needing help, people wanting to help me, and a couple people wanting to pay me for service. My pastor saw it and is showing it to the church on sunday for labor day so who knows?

I was on the news 3 years ago.

I was with my friend at the local bar & it was the night the ban on smoking took place.

My friend gave his speech & I gave the camera a drunken, "wtf is that" look, I looked soooo gone. LMAO

My friend has the recording of it!!
