Bermuda is fast growing and spreads vigorously and has a tendency to push out weeds. It is also a full sun grass and so are most broadleaf weeds. Crabgrass is the most troublesome because its roots emit a toxin that harms Bermuda roots. The ideal pH for Bermuda is 6.5 to 7.0 and Crabgrass pH is less than 7.0. Lime will deter Crabgrass when soil pH is above 7.0.
Liqua*Gold is an excellent organic pre-emergent weed control product.
I do not use any post emergent week control products because all are chemical or synthetic based and high in salts which kill off the needed beneficial bio-organisms and harm the grasses.
A healthy lawn will deter both weeds and insects and the best route to a healthy lawn is going all organic.

Steve, I was gonna ask where I can buy this LiquiGold at in GA, but as the page was loading I see that you're in SC.
Do you order it online? If you buy it locally, who sells it?
Say I can't find it locally and can't afford shipping, what is a comparable product that I may be able to find in the Atlanta area?
Also, I'm curious as to how you are applying this. I see it is a liquid. Are you using your customer's hoses? You have a tank-on-trailer setup for this?
I'm still a small one-man operation. All I have is a 14 ft. box truck w/ a lift on the back, and Exmark 36" hydro, string trimmer, stick edger, hedge clippers, and Redmax EBZ8000 blower. What can I do to begin offering this as a service without breaking myself and keeping it convenient as possible for both myself and my customers?

Be careful with the liquid gold, it is actually made in Canada and the true deal and man does it work well, so well that I received an email from the company in the states that sells or was selling liquid gold from the canadian manufacturer, they claim they have their own Corn Gluten product that has been tested by a very big university in the USA and is better, all of this is false and I sent the email exchange to the Canadian company as they use me like gold and I believe there will be a law suit and the canadian company will win, I know all the details but i can't post as I don't want to get cought in this middle of this war.
Just a buyer beware, make sure you are getting what you are paying for.

LiquiGold
The supplier I used has had its web site removed. I tried to order some today.
The Canadian Supplier is
http://www.greenearth.ca/
The US Supplier is
http://www.ictorganics.com/
The US Supplier does not list LiquiFold in their products.
I sent emails to both but have not received responses yet.

False advertising and false claims, I saw the site and contacted the Canadian Manufacturer, I can't get into details, the product is made here in Canada and they were making some false claims (i.e. certified by a certain University in the states etc.), so I sent an email they had sent to me to get me to buy from them and sent that email to Environmental Factor, I believe they took legal action, it just bugged me at the time the USA company was trying to steal years of research from a Canadian company that I deal a lot with.

Steve,
We call the product in the US Gluten-8, it is under our product page. We have a new option this year which is 55 gallon drums. I have attached our brochure on Gluten-8 and a general seasonal outline, the second page has application and mixing rates
We begin production right after the first of the year, we do have spring pre order discounts for orders placed by the end of the month
Please give me a call if you have any questions
