No Grass!!!

Basically, all of my customers have no grass to cut. The sun is burning it up like crazy... 30 degrees every day so far. Question: Do I skip them & call the customers & tell them to water their grass? I must have some sorta karma battle going on... Pure luck... My mower breaks, I borrow one from a company who needs me later this week. Truck breaks, most of my customers have burnt grass due to the sun. I'm afraid I will get complaints for not "mowing" when the grass is messed up. I don't want them saying, "I'm not paying you for this week bla bla, you didn't cut my lawn" ............ Any ideas? ooo look a spider is dangling on my arm!

Lawn care business tips

just call the customers and explain this to them. tell them to water their grass ask them if they want it cut or not offer to water their grass for them look for mulchbeds and offer to "freshen" them up better yet, try to get them to put a mulch bed in cuz their grass looks so sh#tty i dont know just trying to help

I feel your pain dude. We had a 6 week drought here this summer. Definitely hurt our bottom line as far as mowing is concerned.
Luckily we had some landscaping jobs to fill the void.
For my customers that water their lawns it was business as usual.
For the customers who don't water I tell them to call me when they want their
service to resume or I swing by and keep an eye on their lawn.
