Default Party = Money

"FAMILY EVENT: kids can swim, parents go-fish!"

Chips: 1.00
Beer: $2.00

Pool: $0.00
1 game of cards: $1.25 per person (winner wins merchandise or food)

Example of Profit

Party Time: 5PM - 10PM

Adults: 7
Kids: 5

What was bought
Entrance Fee: $0.00
Hot Dog: $5.00
Burger: $17.50
Salad: $12.00

Beer: $28.00
Soda: $3.75

Pool: $0.00
1 game of cards: $1.25 per person (winner wins merchandise or food): $87.50

Estimated TOTAL: $158.50 / 5 hours

Your supplies are quite cheap, no losses + leftovers will keep you & your family's belly's full the next few days!

This is something I was thinking of doing, basically setting up a friendly party for friends & friends of friends.

To mix things up, I would probably have a projector playing some Disney movie for the kids when it gets darker, while the parents get trashed.

I believe it's a quick & FUN way to make some fast cash to help your business, or make a purchase sooner than thought!

ANYONE care to give this a shot?

I think I will, though I'll be the one drinking all the beer & some how losing money. :P

Talking

Alright so I decided to keep the party between my friends & friends of friends.

18 People on my list
My friend is making one as I write this.. (yes, we both stay up every Sunday night-Monday morning)

Mondays, wouldn't want them to be too easy!

When it's all set up, I'll let you all know when to expect pictures.

I throw a party every year, mind as well make some moolah!

I'll be sure to make a speech, "Thank you everyone for coming, the money we've collected tonight will help speed up my business, enabling me to go from pushing a mower, to sitting on my butt, it's all worth it... suckers"

lol just kiddddding.

The money will be divided up for several investments. I know next year I'll be packed with clients, this will give me a head start.

My friends love to eat, love to drink till they pass out. We all love our drinking bragging rights. ... I'll be sure to throw it on a Sunday, so I can have a memorable Monday. HA!

6:30am... I can either call my weeder now to get started at 7AM like i wanted.... Or I can let her sleep in, it looks like it might rain... I think I'll be nice and let her sleep till 8.. we'll do a long day.

I'm planning on doing my Tuesday lawns today also... A Tuesday off will be AWESOME. I also got 4 checks to pick up, cash & other checks to deposit, good old busy life.

4th coffee already, I'm surely going to mow like a mad man, probably take a leak on some hedges too....

To end my life story here... I'd like to let everyone know that the safety glasses I use, have broke.

I never really use them, always take a chance with my eyes... Always get rocks & wtv stuck in my eyeballs, sucks... I finally decided to wear them the last mowing day & a rock actually cracked my safety glasses, & another rock split my lip.

I blame the customer, "Scotty! Would you care for some pepsi & cookies?!"

I'M WORKING LADY!

I was thinking of fundraisers, how they can work really well for most causes.

My cause isn't necessarily a thing people care about to actually give a donation.

If I keep it simple, & do it with all my friends. It can work out, & I'll have more freedom.

This just in: It's Raining

As for prizes, I can give away some of my movie collections or merchandise, etc. Everyone wants a Breeze Hat! LMAO... I got tons of points on my visa, good to get everyone a few movie tickets. etc... I get a lot of free crap that I can give away too.

Actually, every one of my friends wants to write me as their employer on their resumes. Tim Hortons (coffee shop) must think their staff is made of steel.

i can't believe I didn't do this before.... Everyone should try it!!!

All you need is a small investment for supplies, put a price on them to make a profit off each item sold... Buy in bulk... Throw a party!

Last year my friend & I spent $200.00 each = $400.00 on booze & snacks... We barely had anything left!

It was a self serve party, bbq your own stuff, etc.

I could have probably made a fortune!

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's too hilarious! Steve, your the only person who has made me laugh the past month!

You do have a good point. I have 3 good friends who have bands... I COULD have one of them play. The question is... Why shouldn't I do Karaoke?!!!!

I'll bring all my Asian friends!!! They will love it!

Maybe I'll hire a guy to do an ANIMAL SHOW!!! Crocodiles must be awesome while were all drunk!!!

Why not do both? Have the band play for a few then take a break and have karaoke going during the break.

Maybe you could have games with smaller crocs where you see who can handle a croc bite the longest LOL
