They do not seem to offer things that I need.

I think I need to get a new website, but I do not have tons of money to give someone to do it for me.

I do not know alot about getting high rankings.

I need help.

I am not sure but there are some things that I will call suport and they do not even know anything to help me.

I get people that come to my web Page using www. and some with out and they count it on google as two deferant sites.

I am so lost with all of this.

I am trying to create a website on publisher, but I am just wasting time because I have no clue what I am doing. HAHA

Thanx!

I am looking at your website now and I think it looks great. Maybe you could just save all the pages and then transfer the domain to something like godaddy? Maybe that would be better and then upload the pages to that host?

Web design and programming is definitely a "you get what you pay for" service. Sure you can get a kid that calls himself a "web designer" to do it for a couple of hundred bucks although lately they've found out they can charge a couple of thousand, acting like a big league player, and be gone before the customer realizes he's been taken. Actually, the folks that hire the hacks usually don't know any better and never realize they've been rooked until someone that knows how to design and program comes along.

I used to be in the business and it's really frustrating competing for a $3000 site with some hack that will do it for $400. Trying to explain the reasons to the buyer and having the entire conversation go over his head makes him think I'm the one trying to rip him off. It's exactly the same being an insured, licensed and trained lawn care provider going against a kid pulling a cart with a mower on it with his bike.

I guess it depends on if you want a validly coded site running off of a secure backend. If not any hack can throw up some junk static code. Search engine optimization is a black art that gets more dubious the deeper you get.

Default hmmm

just passing thru today and read this. I bought my website thru go-daddy it costs me 12 a month hosting fee. you get a website called website tonight. I purchased a domain name. since i live in Fargo ND, i called it fargolawncare. Dude, its not that hard because everything is pretty much done for you, at godaddy. all you have to do is add text or images or video or whatever. might take you a few hours to get the hang of it but after that its all downhill. Picfarmer helped me out some. actually alot. So, thats my two cents..

here is a link check it out

amen

Artie, can you make a top ten list on what you would like to see in your website. That way we can better help you prioritize your needs vs. your wants. Hosting is very inexpensive and there are a lot of 'free' web platforms out there you can use.

I got a go-daddy tonight, and I am work it OK. It does have allot more that the one I am using at Visy and Cheaper.

Here is what I have so far. www.mytakeacard.info

When I am complete I will switch it all over.
I hope this help my ranking on the web. I do make first page now but last one.

Richard, I will get that list after I go and see if go-daddy covers them.

Thanks!
