Requesting a web site criticism and review

Hello fellow Gopher guys!

I was temporarily using a freebie site template for my business' site. It looked horrible, in my opinion, so I made a new template for it last week and I think I've got it dialed in.

Let me know what you think and suggest improvements.

Lawn care business tips

site looks great. I like the scrolling tips and the weather information.

I'm no artist, just a programmer/lawn care provider (nice combo, eh?). I was going for a clean and simple look. My logo colors are black and gold (this is Steeler country so I figured it would get some looks

) and I wanted to use those colors.

The calendar isn't being used as it should yet. It's a part of the CMS that I built so I left it in. I'm thinking maybe putting specials on there, "sign up before Aug 8 to receive a special deal" or something like that. Any other ideas for using the calendar?

Hmm. I guess I should put a more detailed list of services on there. That makes sense.

I tried to go to http://boughterslawncare.com/ and it wouldn't load up.

I think there is a server setting to deal with that.

Does that happen to you too?

Clean and simple...just the way I like a website. Would be nice to see some more photos and better descriptions of your work.

Well, instead of doing something important, like adding appropriate content, I built an RSS feed onto the blog section. http://boughterslawncare.com/feed.xml

I'll try to get more content soon and I definitely have some more that I want to say on the blog but I'm not so great at content writing.
