Default My Update

Well there are a few things I'd like to throw in here, nothing major.

I got a new customer who wanted lawn service only 2 times a month, rather than 4 times a month.

I told him that I'm not interested in taking him on as a customer & explained that I will be working just as hard or more hard doing visits twice a month. He asked if there was a solution.

I responded, "Well I can either up the price & mow your lawn twice a month, or you can hire my services for the entire season, 4 times a month."

He chose for me to raise my price, so I did... geez.

--------

So his lawn was mowed, Monday around 11pm. I then get a call on Thursday & he says, "I was wondering if you mowed my lawn Monday?"

I laughed. This guy is going to be like this all season or what? We just started! lol... So I said, "I cut it on Monday, & I'll try to cut it shorter my next visit if I see there will be no problem doing so bla bla bla"

My trailer... Well, it's Blue, like my company hat, looks great. I needed my company info designed onto it for awhile now but I've pretty my yelled my head off at the one person who was eager to help me out, they bailed on me the first few weeks & it got to me.

So the lights didn't really work on the trailer, but a little bit of frustration & tape got me through it, plus a couple of new bulbs. It just looks like a mess & I'll be embarrassed to drive it around just yet, lol. I want it perfect!!!!!

///////

My stepfather has been nagging me to weed his stone gardens around the house, I told him from the start I'm not interested. Doing a job like that really isn't worth the money unless I'm ripping him off. Weeding out of stones is a waste of time, soil & mulch is great though.

My starting price for weeding is $75.00 for soil/mulch beds... & my starting price for weeding stones is officially $120.00 , it's just something I'd rather pay someone to have me not do it.

I recommended that he pay me to spray the stones, but he said no & got into a little fuss.... Next thing I know I come by his house & see him spraying the stones, lol...

.........

I'd really like to start lawn striping this week, I just want to find the best solution. Something for my self propelled 21inch... Something that works... I wanted to use a roller that you fill with sand or water, but only because I thought my friend had one that I could take off his hands for a case of beer, but he didn't have one. These things are like $120.00 .... and I haven't tested it out yet.

What else is new? Well, I started jogging again... Also staying up all night watching the best show ever "South Park" on www.allsp.com ... that's about it!
