Default Picking up a backpack sprayer

I haven't decided which sprayer to get, but I will this June....

Can any of you tell me what I should be spraying? What will bring in the most money?

List everything you can that I could use with my sprayer, & I'll try to find the product here in Montreal. It seems that we've become very limited.

A backpack smaller won't do. It will take all day for an average sized lawn and it will exhaust you. I use a Finco tow behind sprayer.
http://fincoindustries.com

Andy (picfraimer) turned me on to Nature's Lawn products and he is from Canada. http://www.natureslawn.com.

The Finco sprayer I have (25 gallon) sprays an 80" (32 cm) swath.

Andy can set you up with a Canadian Company for an organic weed control product.

For backpacks we use Gilmore, IMHO they are the best going, I think they are 6 or 8 gallon, we use them for Moss spray and our Organic products up to 1,500 square feet.

1,500 to 2,500 I have two Fimco battery hand pull units, they are excellent and hold a charge for 15 hours.

Anything bigger is either our 15 gallon John Deer tow unit or I have a 40 gallon Fimco, I ordered a 60 gallon this morning (Fimco) as we won a contract to spray our Misquito product at a golf course.

As for what to spray, visit Naturs Lawn, their Organic products are a hit for us, keeps two full time and one part time person going, we also use two products from BJE, both Organic, they are located in Montreal.

Ya I wanted to get into spraying because of the post we all discussed earlier about Natures Lawn products, I didn't know it was all Canadian.

Do they have dealers, or do I have to order them???

How many gallons do they sell, what is the cost? I'm highly interested!

Being that a backpack sprayer can run me up about $150.00 for a crummy one, where can I find a decent walk behind sprayer? What's the best brand, I'm thinking TORO good, I need the best lol.

Though I do feel like a backpack sprayer will save me from overusing product, would a walk behind kinda drain the product too fast, spray too generously?

Most my lawns are 1800sqft give or take.

EDIT: Sorry Natures Lawn isn't Canadian, BOO! But Andy, your advice would be greatly appreciated on where to start, what to buy, all details. Your the man!

Someone hook me up! lol

The big hardware stores will have the Gilmore backpack sprayer, I think they are around $180.00, they are by far my favorite and we have never had an issue.

Next is to contact Natures Magic, go to their website:

I buy and sell the plant food to the clients in 1 quart containers, cost times 2.8 is the clients cost.

Order Aerify Plus, Lawn Fertilizer, Dethacher and Insect Guard, get 2 1/2 gallons of each, read and study what they do.

Charge clients $28.00 per thousand, min of $35.00

Next go to BJE and order their Organic Fertilizer, they are in Montreal so you can probably drive over and get it, it controls weeds, we sell monthly follow up spraying of this product at $18.10 per thousand, min $35.00

That will get you started, jsut study and study what each product does.

http://www.natureslawn.com/

http://www.bjedistri-organic.com/cgi...7&id_langue=en

Start advertising as soon as you wtudy what they do then order the product, start small and buy as required. We now buy a pallet at a time, generally runs around $3,800.00 and lasts a month +/-, shipping is a fraction of smaller orders however it does take about three weeks, we always have 15 gallons of every product in stock.
