what would be a fair price to prep the soil and and install 1500 square feet of sod

If the customer purchases the sod;

I'd probably charge $3.00 per sqft of sod put down.

500 sqft = $1,500

Or maybe I'd charge the same price of how much the sod was bought for.

As for prepping the lawn, maybe charge per hour, maybe $35.00/hr.

i can get the sod for 0.25 per square foot i was thinking of charging 2.5 per square foot all in

What is involved in preping the soil? pH adjustment, fertilizing, conditioning, tilling?

... What does the area look like? Do you need to lay the sod down in the front or back of this place or both? I'm curious.
