That is a high Interest rate bud, can you take out a personal line of credit in your name and then do an owners loan to the company and have the company buy it, take 50% from each job it does and apply it to the line of credit, you will have it paid for in no time.
I can tell you the Canadian prices I paid but you need to take about 35%++ off for approximate US prices, a 6" chipper cost me $2,300 I bought a Jimna off Ebay and had it shipped here, works great and has paid for itself many times, A box scraper is around $900.00 and once again it paid for itself in two weeks doing driveways but we use it for everything, in fact guys in areas that receive a little snow use it for snow removal as you can push with it as well as pull.
I went back this morning to talk to the owner - yesterday I talked to a salesman. He told me that it was purchased recently with a trade in and that the widow wanted to just get out from under it. He was selling it for her. And he did about 2 hours before I got there. A dollar short and a day late! He does have a smaller used model comming in next week with a trailer and will call me when it is delivered. It has a front loader and he can get a tiller on it for about $12,000.00.
