Is anyone using MYOB products for their accounting and tax Im looking for a chart of accounts for a lawn mowing/property maintainence business

As a former accountant, go with Simply Accounting or Quick Books, both are excellent products, you can set up a chart of accounts in Simply and I believe they have a free software download. Andy

Most software is based on the US economy so wont work correctly

We have a Canadian and US version of Simply Accounting available. As picframer mentioned in an earlier post, you can download the trial version for free. You can then test out the program using the sample company to see if it meets your requirements or needs. I'm unsure how the New Zealand Tax System works, but if it's the same or similar to the Canadian tax system you can check out if the Canadian version of Simply Accounting works for you. You can check out the Trial versions here: http://www.simplyaccounting.com/products/

If this doesn't meet your needs, Sage does have other Accounting software products for the New Zealand market. I've provided a link below for these products just in case:

Had a look at both sites
Simply Accounting Trial Program was 472 Megs and only available in Canada via CD I didnt try downloading only have dialup
As far as sage goes Ive found the NZ site and have sent an email waiting for a reply
