Default Tree and Bush job

I have a customer that needs a 30-35 ft. Pine tree that's about 8 inches in girth. Also he has two 15-20ft. trees at the rear of his property he wants down as well. There is also about 11 different bushes on the property ranging in sizes from 2-3 ft. in height. He only need me cut down everything and no removal. He however wants the trees cut into peices, I guess for fire wood. How much should I charge for this service. I'll be doing the job with one helper.

Lawn care business tips
These trees just need dropped? Is there any need to climb them or use ropes? Are you just dropping them and cutting them up? Do you have good saws with sharp chains? The reason I ask is because that can make the difference in a 2 hour job, and a 4 or 6 hour job.

Assuming its just drop, cut up and go, you should be able to do it in about 2-3 hours. If you are going to need to drag the brush, or haul and stack the firewood, then figure about double the time.

Im planning on getting a couple of extra blades for the saw and I may have to climb about half way up to cut some of it from the top because of a phoneline that may be in the way if I cut it from the bottom.I was thinking about starting the cut about 5ft. up from the ground, and maybe I'll clear the phoneline. I walked off around 10-11 yds. from the base of the tree, but it's hard to determind how tall the tree actually is.

If you want to buy it online, the best prices I have found is treemansupply.com . But be prepared to spend a pretty penny for it. Not a wise choice for a job or 2, but if you plan on going into it as a regular service, you will end up spending about $1000 for the basics, but will be well worth it in the long run.

Figure how long you think it is going to take you with the climbing involved, then double it, cause it usually takes twice as long as you planned it to. For me anyway!
