I have never been asked about stripping (this is my first year though). $150 isn't a bad price if there is a need. Could you charge more for the service? How much more. Will rain erase the patterns? It seems from our previous discussions on this, certain grasses are easier to stripe than others.

If you can offer this service, why not! It would really make your properties stand out.

I stripe all of my yards, I don't charge extra for it I think it should be done by all lawn care professionals. It lets people know that the yard is being professionally maintained. That is just my opinion. But, I don't use a lawn stripper or anything like that a good mower will stripe anyway if you have the deck adjusted correctly. here are some pics of yards that I mow!

i stripe all my yards also with no extra charge it just looks better but for 150 it would be a small investiment if it works they way they say it does and as far as rain that is a yes or no type thing depends on hom much temp and alot of other things but its not somethin you would have to go fix if it did

the pictures that I posted earlier all were mowed while it was raining off and on all day. So, no rain doesn't erase the stripes. You don't paint them on or anything like that. Stripes are made basically by "bending" the grass blades a certain direction.
