Google has been a huge success!!!

Hey everyone I just wanted to let everyone know that I posted on google jobs and put in all my info and it has been fantastic. I put in all the services I provide and almost everyone comes up first when you serach for the service and area. Check it out. Just type in lawncare or mowing in safety harbor, fl and it comes up The cutting edge lawn service which is mine. I have only been on one week and recieved three calls for big jobs. I think everyone should try it.

Lawn care business tips

I just did a search and your business comes up second in the local business results section. How long did it take to get listed there? Oh and you dont even have a website yet do you? WOW How do you track where your new customers find you from?

It depends on what is typed in the search on where I come up but it is usually number 1 or 2.

I track this by asking all cutomers who call how they recieved my info so I can keep track of this for marketing needs.

No idea how I came up on #1 but Iam not complaining. Maybe because I put so many services I provide and did them all ways it is speeled or presented such as lawncare, lawn care, lawn, mowing.

This is just outstanding! Do you have any advice for other new lawn care business owners on how they can go about getting listed?

-Go to google's main page and click MAPS at the top.
-Next on the left hand side you will see put your business on Google maps. Click
-Then create a new account.
- Remember to put as many keywords as possible to promote yourself.
-It should do the same for you as it has done for me.

What's the status with your website? Are you excited about getting it online after receiving all these calls from your online promotion so far?

As far as the website goes I am in the process. I am not to savvy on this yet. I have been checking out homestead which runs your site for 4.99 a month I think. Ill post a link when I am finished

You can aslo post your business on yahoo yellow pages. You have to use another source who then sends to yahoo in a month or so. I will post link for it... You need to try this guys. Its been good so far and free. Cant beat it.

Do you track which calls come from the Yahoo yellow pages and which come from google? Do you know what the % has been for each of them?

For a website I use webs.com it is free and easy to use. no html stuff to work on, which is great for me cuz i am html illiterate!! hahaha!!! check out my website http://benslawncare.webs.com it works for me I get jobs from it almost everyday.
