Question My vista print proof

Here's the original file

http://www.jitys.ca/eng/Postcard_Front_vista.pdf

Here's the Vista proof

http://www.jitys.ca/eng/proofview.pdf

Is it me or does the proof document look different compared to the original

If your going to mail this, check with the post office first and see if it meets the requirements.

Nice art work! did you design it yourself?

The original is more saturated in color. it may be because of the proof stamp over the image that causes this loss in saturation. Other than that, it looks ok. And yes check with the PO to make sure it is ok to mail

That's what I'm thinking because it's because of the proof stamp layer. I don't want to end up printing 2000 copies of garbage print. That is why I wanted to confirm that

I will check with post office.

I agree the proof has less color but that could also be due to the fact that you can't print the same range of color that you can create with a graphics program. There is a safe range within the color you can print. So maybe what they are doing here is showing you what it will look like in that safe range. I think it looks fine.

Did you upload the original to them in a pdf or an image file? Did they accept pdf formats?

Some color quality loss but it's still very good!

Since this is a post card and I deal with Vista a lot, it is very, very cheap to put B & W printing on the back which I do, promote other things you do, add a line if you need a service not listed, please ask, if we are unable to do the service we know people that can, it just ensures people to not blow you off when they do not see a specific word.

Not I do not use stamps, I do a non addressed mail drop, you can look at very specific streets on the Canada Post website for delivery, therefore I use the entore back of the card to promote what we do.

In any event, I like the card, really like the company name font, that is great!

That's why if you look at the proof view document you'll see on the back i got ... and much more below the list of services so they don't feel limited to what I can do

Did you convert and upload as a JPEG, you will get better quality, PDF is better for text than images. Call them and have them mail you a proof first which they will do
