Get some business cards made or make them on your computer and start handing them out to your friends, neighbors and family. Let everyone know you are in business. Knock on your neighbors' doors and offer them your lawn care business services. Do they need lawn cutting, yard cleanup, gutter cleaning or any other services? Ask them how you can help out and then do it. You don't need any fancy equipment. A simple mower, trimmer and blower will probably do wonders for you. Don't go into debt to get started. Most new business owners I have talked to usually experiment with trying to find some business and cut some lawns before they go and register a business. A big problem most people face when looking to start a business is they put everything else in front of actually doing the simple things like cutting a lawn and making money. By worrying about everything else you can make a simple concept so complex that you get nothing done. So remember keep it simple. Start very simply. Take small steps and grow.
