Lawncare and seeding

I have a property that was negelcted for many years and needs to be aerated and dethached and then over seeded.

The property is 161,175 sqft big.

The questions are;

1. How much to charge to aerate and what tool to use?

2. How much to charge to dethatch and overseed and which tool?

3. What seeds germinate the quickest in clay and small amount of soil.

4. will we need dirt? how much?

What other tools or equipment and I missing. I have been looking at the turf reviatlizer any comments on it.

All questions are welcomed.

That is a good question.

I hope others can jump in here. How much do you charge per 1,000 sq ft to aerate?

Could you get $10 per 1,000 sq ft to aerate?

So total = $1,611 for the aeration?

Maybe double that to aerate and overseed?

$3,223 for that service?

I am guessing you are going to be renting the machine? Have you talked with the local rental place to see which one they would suggest using on that size area and how long it should take?

That is where I am as far as price and the machine will be loaned out to me. It is called turf revitalizer. they want me to try it so that I might buy it later. figure that test drive the car and maybe buy it.

I will try and get a photo up on it so you can see the details.

Let us know how the job works out and what you think of the machine.

Also what are your thoughts on buying such a machine vs. renting and how often would you use it?
