Logo Header

I'm trying to insert my own logo into wordpress and have hit a wall, also have been trying to move the nav bar down and get rid of a pic that's there.
I loaded the logo up to wordpress as well as the host, only on the host I got an error. I'm not sure if it would work from a photobucket url or not.

Playing with wordpress can get tricky.

Have you experimented with editing the template yet? You should be able to get in there and insert an image in the header section.

if the theme does not have a logo placeholder you'll need to insert call in the php and alter the CSS to make it work. As for the nav, it can get tricky as you'll need to relocate div's and adjust the CSS again.

Thanks for the help and offers, I really appreciate it. I placed it in the post box for now after I changed the theme.
It seems to bring the focus to the view point where all the meat and taters should be and may leave there and use it as a logo instead of a header.
I'll play around with it some more this weekend.

I'll get my programmers to make a video on inserting headers into WordPress.

This is a totally free and easy to use header program, and when you register they do not beat you to death with emails. For the Photoshop phobic:

You should be able to go into your admin page and then go into your Appearance editor then edit the template 'header'.

Once you are in there, mess around. Stick the "img src" code in somewhere and see how your logo appears. Then move it around until you get a look you want.
