Well you just kinda have them !!
They talked nice and every thing , for one exp I had one client That was a little out from my route. The yard would been a $50 yard but I priced it at $70 for the drive. So for the first 2 weeks of moving every thing whent smooth. Then the 3rd vist I cut the lawn and left the bil on the door!! She called me that Night and asked why I mowed the lawn when it did not need it. So I talked to her and we moved it to 2 weeks ( Something in the back of my mind tald me to call before I headed out that way!) Yep she said the yard can go one more week . . Then I just told her to give me a call when she needed me to mow it again.

Default craigs list

Lawn care business tipsLawn Care Business Book
i have gotten nothing but great leads from craigslist. i am on there changing my heading every day. if you place "key words" ie: landscaping, your town & state, and your company name, you will do great on craigslist, and those "keywords" bring you up higher on any internet search engine, which is also good.

Does anyone have any info on putting bids in on CVS stores, or rite aids, etc??? I want to try to get the accounts around here, they are terrible looking!!!!

Thanks

Paul

Paul,

I am glad you are having good luck with CL. Do you think that it has something to do with the local community?

Just for the record, I love CL and I have bought numerous items from CL but have never been successful with advertising anything on CL.

Hey Eli,

I stay in a tight community on craigs list, sometimes ill advertise my town, other times ill advertise the town next to me, but never too far from my shop...i never try to cover the whole area at once. maybe thats why i get good luck with it. also, i change my text to the season... pretty soon i will be putting up a spring yard clean-up ad on there.

and like i said, keep changing your keywords......instead of "tuscan gardens landscaping", i put in dunmore pa landscaping, mowing, spring clean-ups. then i go into my description of services in the text box.

Hope I helped

Paul

Paul,
could you please post the link to some of your ads? I am interested in seeing how you do it, maybe I can do something similar for my shop. I have posted numerous times and have not received a single cutomer from it.

If I understand correctly, you are wanting to do te landscaping for them? Just a thought but I think I would go into the store and ask to speak to the Manager. When you speak to the manager tell them that you would like to bid on their landscaping or whatever it is you want to do. It would not hurt to have some photos of work you have done and what you propose to do.

Good luck,
Eli

I have a feeling alot of people are going to use that as their scapegoat this year which I am not looking forward to by any means...

Anyway, has anyone on here actually attained quality accounts from craigslist??
Customers are what you make of them . . .do cheap work for a low price and you have low paying cheap customers. Hope that helps

Great ad DJ.

Can you put in html code for the image? So if you host an image on your site, try putting in this code and see if it works.

PHP Code:
<img src="http://www.yoursite.com/yourimage.jpg"
