I don't know why but I think my business account is not working alright since my account is 5 digits and paypal only counts the last 4.. So I don't know if it's working properly, but I do have the option of accepting Visa/Mastercard and all the rest on my site.

Do you think other lawn care business owners should be using paypal on their site? Is it popular?

Well it all depends on the customer but it is always a good backup to have. I assume it's popular. I have justposted my old digital camera for sale and I've got a few e-mails people asking if I have a paypal account so they can send me their money.

That's how I manage to pay Bob from Plan-it graphics since I am from Canada and Bob is from the U.S.A.

So now I tell my customers if they have an e-mail, they can use paypal/credit card to pay me. I've installed the Paypal outlook payment request wizard plugin for Microsoft Outlook so when I send a PDF invoice, I send my customer the option to pay with Paypal

Here's the link to the plugin

Very interesting.

Paypal seems to take a processing fee of $.50 per transaction so I am thinking it works better for higher priced items.

To receive 100$, you must ask for 103.30. That's how much Paypal charges

103.30 USD
103.30 USD = 103.30 USD (1 USD = 1.00000 USD)
- 0.00 USD (2.5% Currency Conversion Fee)
- 3.00 USD (2.9% PayPal transaction fee)
- 0.30 USD (PayPal fixed fee)
= 3.30 USD (PayPal Fees)
= 100.00 USD (Amount Received)

Well I actually use both types. I have a personal account paypal and a business one. They are both connected to my 2 different accounts.
