Use facebook to network your business

I created a group from my business on facebook and now I have over 60 people in my group...some I have never heard of before but are from my location. Do any of you use facebook to network?

Lawn care business tips

I saw a thread about this on another site. I was surprised that most people were not taking advantage of this. I think anyone who has a website, should also create a facebook or myspace profile for their company. Another thought is that you could also advertise on facebook and myspace to a specific group of people. You can choose to advertise to people in your area who are between a certain age, married or unmarried, and based on a number of other stuff to. You can really pick and choose who you advertise to on these types of sites and I think it could be a great way to get new customers.

I know some people on the forum have used myspace to market their business but I would like to know for those who have used facebook, how have you found it for marketing your business?
