Smile trimmer with multi attachments

Hello all you money hounds.

Good to use or not?

One of the multi attachment machines, you know one with edger trimmer blower tiller.

I am staying small, one man opp. This is very attractive option, it seems however, that this would only be good for 1 to 2 seasons.

Any input is needed. Thanks.

I hate to say it But if you can stay away from the Lowes and homedepo Junk I would!!!!!!
I know they sell JD and Cub and Echo But the stuff they sale IS all junk.
IT will not last you one year (been there done that)(so I know).
So why buy all of the heads for it when I t want even last that long ??????
The Stihl Might be a good one. But Not for the price They want for it in my Mind.

If you like Stihl Buy a trimmer then just get The heads for it. Way cheaper.
I like Redmax the best so far.
http://www.redmax.com/node3928.aspx
BUT I do have a honda trimmer with a Stihl Hedge Trimmer on it(The head it self cost over $200 )

Joe
Stay away from the Lowe's and home depot versions. i have the Lowe's Troy-built system, and i am not happy with it, they are under powered, constantly doing maintenance on the attachments, looking at buying separate machines for each job. do not get the curved head string trimer after a long day of trimming your back will start hurting, there not designed for commercial use.
