Default Snowplow marketing

Did you all see this postcard design from Bob at http://www.plan-itgraphics.com ?

I really thought this was a creative snow plow marketing idea.

On the front of the postcard it says: Snow Removal only $99 a month. Unlimited service.

On the back it says: Monthly snow removal service will include

  • We plow your driveway every 2 inches all winter.
  • We do the sidewalk and up to your front door also.
  • Just $99 a month for most homes in our service area.
  • Our experienced snow removal crew works while you sleep and ensures you are never stuck in your driveway or late for work because you had to shovel.
I really think this is ingenious because $99 a month is a good solid figure people would pay. I don't know how much it would actually cost to show up each time but there is a potential you could get paid and not have any snow at all.

What is your view of this?

Yea way before the spell check was used!! Anytime you see proof on one of my postcards they are not the final proof. We made some changes to the card. This is pretty close to the final proof here...

Default This works well!

I use the same idea and generate lots of business just for myself.

I have 20 customers that are recieving " minute man" service.
About 1/2 are monthly and the other are "as needed". My route should take about 6 hours and each customer will have a 18x 24 sign on there lawn for more work. I plan on working a 12 hr day when the snow hits and hope to generate at least 10 more customers on a "will call".

Best part for me this year is that we can market all year long! some of these snow accounts never new we existed until we put out doorhangers. More opportunity for spring work, fert, weed control, maintenance, etc.

Doorhanger design: Corel x4
Hanger stock: Blank-doorhanger.com
Printing: office max

Do you mean you put a lawn sign in their yard that promotes snow plowing?

That is neat!

Did you put out door hangers promoting snow plowing or was this for lawn care?

I really like the snow plow sign, however I am wondering how well it will stay on through all the plowing he will undoubtly do this winter. Is there a clear coat that keeps it from coming off?
