Lawn care business tips

This is an ironic question since I am currently watching the debate. From what I have heard thus far I definitely think McCain is going to do more for me as a small business owner. One of my major concerns is insurance. Right now I am only 21 years old and fortunate enough to be on my Dad's company health insurance until age 25. However, I want a plan to provide health insurance to myself and maybe even my employees in four years. McCain has said that he wants to provide government tax credits to small businesses for health insurance. I also put more trust in McCain in fixing our general economic policies. This is based purely on experience. Our economy is going to need some serious and well thought out changes to become prosperous again in a reasonable amount of time (4 years or less). I have not really heard much from Obama on small business, which kind of dissapoints me.

I think McCain's proposals on health insurance leads us down a dangerous road (hence nobody has suggested it before), That $5000 tax credit is not going to soften the rates you'll have to pay very much once his plan is implemented. As far as taxes.... McCain proposes an across the board spending freeze.... I think this proposal is a knee jerk reaction to an question he hadn't prepared an answer fo (or at least I hope...). A total freeze can't be the answer, It would bring any an all research, studies, educational programs, etc. to an abrupt stop. Which only means no progress on anythin at all.? What the hell kind of answer is that?

Let's put that in terms that apply to most of us.... If you are running your lawn care business & realize your spending a bit over budget, do you:

A) Say ok, stop ALL spending? No more advertising, marketing, no maintenence, no equipment purchases, & we should let all our employees go.... This is a suicide move, No spending at all means no progress, means your about to be out of business. This is not the answer.

or
B) Look over your current situation & decide where cuts can & should be made to start to bring spending in line without severing the outgoing cash flow that is needed to bring future profits in.

There are things I don't like about both candidates, but McCain seems to be a continuation of the **** sandwich we've been eating for 8 years now.
Obama may be the 1st black president & I could give a **** less if he was purple or blue.... He's intelligent & I think he is the one who actually puts America first - rather than politics, special intrests & all the other bull**** that gets thrown at you as a politician.

That's my opinion as it stands now.

This is a no brainer for me. McCain in my opinion is the only choice unless you like the socialism ideal.

I think to get this health care problem solved, all the politicians need to forgo their free coverage and then create a plan that is open to everyone. Then the politicians can buy into that plan if they choose to have health care.

Unless they feel the fire underneath them, nothing will get done.

If we don't take care of the entrepreneurs and business owners, no one will have jobs and there will be no business.

I do wish we had some maverick third party candidate that could be running and had some real answers to real political problems the vast majority of our citizens find themselves dealing.
