Default Custom Tees Here!

Hi Folks.

I have been doing custom Tees for a little while now and I want to offer them to you. I have made shirts for many local companies and events. The turn around is quick and the final product is of the highest quality.

Let me tell you about the shirt. I use a high quality 100% cotton shirt that is not the cheap see-through kind you have seen out there (see any cheap printing company on the web like vista print). I use only the highest rated and highest quality transfer for each shirt. The benefits of a transfer over a silk-screened shirt is that they come in FULL COLOR with no minimums. No kidding, if you wanted to buy just one to see exactly what I offer before you order more, you could. No set-up fees either. The image becomes a part of the shirt and does not lay heavy on top like many silk-screened versions. The image stretches with shirt and it will last as long as the shirt itself. The shirt has a removable tag so you can be comfortable from day one. Or you could have me come up with your own tag-less tag inside with care instructions. How cool is that? Your own brand!

So what I have in stock is white Tees in all sizes. These shirts get HUGE! I can get any color you need and it only adds a day or two to your order.

I offer volume discounts. Email me today for an estimate. By the way, these shirts don't have to be about your lawn care business. I've had people ask that do some Disney birthday shirts with custom names and ages. I've done family reunions too! I can do it all.

Lawn care business tips
Do you have any pictures of how the shirts look after they are made? I would love to see them. Also how big of an area can these prints be made?

Below are how the proof is sent for approval. These are all shirts I have done. The boxers are an example of colors and ideas Currently the biggest size I print with is a standard sheet size. So 8.5 x 11.

I can get a continuous sheet for printing but I would still be limited to 8.5 on one side. So a banner is possible. So far I found that this size is quite accommodating for everything I have done. Down the road, if I choose, I can get into a larger printer/printing area.

Some of the other things I can do are coffee cups, hats, totes, boxers etc. If somebody had something special they wanted an image on, say a special store-bought garmet (like a pair of boxers with a special message, for a gag gift) or whatever, they could ship it to me to add the image. How great would it be for a groom to have a special pair of boxers that he wore under his tux, for his bride to discover later on the honeymoon? The possibilities are endless but the idea to remember is that the items can be one-off and very personal.

Eventually I will be offering etched glass and mirrors. This is quite a nice product. You've seen this type of product before, like a pilsner or wine glass with initials on them or what-have-you for the special bride and groom, just for your personal bar. Or maybe a great gift of a glass or ashtray with a deer etched on it. Imagine a mirror for your garage with your passion etched around the edges like Nascar, favorite sports team along and personalized with your name - you get the point. I've done some etched glass/mirror items for friend to sell in his rustic furniture store. They have done very well. Christmas is very nice with a personal item and a date like "Christmas 2008" on it.

SCREENPRINT VS HEAT TRANSFER: Both have pros and cons.

Screenprinting is a great way to mass produce many shirts with the same logo or design. They hold up very well and can withstand many washes and abuse. A drawback is that many companies will require you to order minimums, you may need to order at least 12-24. Many charge set-up fees. This fee is to get your imagine ready to print. Colors need to be separated so that they can be printed separately. Some designs take up to 4 or more screens. Some companies absorb the cost of set-up on large orders but because of that type of policy, they refuse small orders. More colors = more expense and duplicating real life full color images are nearly impossible.

Heat transfer is the process of transferring pigmented ink onto commercial grade paper for each shirt to be pressed. The paper is then heated and press onto the shirt with a large commercial heat press. The downfalls to this type of imaging is that after multiple washings, the image may start to fade. The transfers I use are designed to last a very long time. Unlike the store bought consumer "iron-on" transfers, these transfers have a very soft feel to them as you rub your across the image and they become a part of the shirt. The images stretch with the shirt because they are apart of it.

Heat transfers are realatively inexpensive, have full color possibilities and are produced one at a time. No kidding, you could literately have a different image, different color and different size for each person at an event in just about the same cost and time frame as it would be to print out the same image. Don't get me wrong, there would be factors that slow down the process this way but overall, the time frame would be very close as the same. I had an order just like this example. The organization asked for a personalized shirts for everyone at the event and I was able to deliver the shirts within a short turn around.

Please do keep in mind that if you need many of the same image shirts, screen printing may be the least expensive route to go. And just for examples sake, a low end number of custom shirts would be a cost around $15 per shirt where as if you needed closer to 100 units, you could sell them for around $15 and make decent money.

I think this is all very neat. As you do more lawn care business tshirts, I'd love to see them.

I thought I should explain the un**** shirt. This is the version 1.0 - I have since revised it.

It now says
"Oh sorry, my bad...
Go un**** yourself!"

To some it's funny, to others it just doesn't make sense. I'm still out on it and still trying to come up with something less clunky. I like the idea/sign otherwise.

You are welcome. As with everything. I am sure the more you do, the more you will do. Maybe you could come up with some type of trial offer to get some of the members to jump on the opportunity of using your services? If you could get some word of mouth going on here and have some others wearing your shirts, it could open up more doors.

OK. Here are some shirts I did for myself. Please keep in mind I am a big dude and these are 3x (hence the Big Lebowski). I can also be a little cheap so I print 2 shirts for every transfer so those 4 images you see (2 front - 2 back) were printed on the same size sheet as a normal piece of paper.

What you would get is your back logo on a whole sheet. That is far bigger than what you see here (remember I got 4 images). The front is typical of the size you'd expect. So your front logos would all come from the same sheet and the back logos would all have their own.
