I just do alot of research with Stihl, Husqvarna and John Deere equipment... those are the only dealers that are close to me.

I also found out that you can collect Air Miles when you finance with AG Line with John Deere equipment so yeah, just a little tip for everybody

Sorry for the confussion. After i looked at my manual again it said that my mower did 200 hrs. Not 2000 hrs. One too many zeros. Sorry about that.

Thanks for all the great tips. I was thinking of getting a larger tractor but with the size of trailer i can only get the 42 in deck. I also have no intrest, no payments until june 2009. If i went to the john deere dealer out here i can,t get the no payments or intrest.

Wish i got the air miles though. Already planning for a holiday this year. Goin on a jamacian cruise.

Here is my first and only Deere. I purchased at an auction near me for only $75! It is a 14sx commercial John Deere with a bagger side discharge and mulch. I just greased the self propelled wheels today and I did an oil change added a new spark plug and blade and its running and cutting real nice.

Dose it have a steel or aluminum deck?

My magnet just told me its aluminum..it also has a steel edge on the bottom of deck and is very heavy for a 21" push mower. I will get pics of the wall I lift it up and down Tuesday.

What a great mower to buy. I purchased a rider similar to your 125 last year and I have ran across every kind of lawn. Now I am getting ready for picking up leaves which does a great job for that. Make sure you keep the blades nice and sharp and be routine about changing the oil and filter. My mower already has 175 hrs and still runs like new. Good luck !
