Overgrown mutant lawn I tackled yesterday

Check this out.... Yes, in the 2nd picture..... that is my mower sitting in the front lawn to give you a height reference. You can only see the top of the seat & roll bar. hehe This thing was waist high, it was at my shoulders while sitting on the mower. Here's some before & afters.

Wow! Those are some great pictures. What was the deal with that house? Was it a foreclosure? Why was the grass so high?

A rental that was vacant for a while apparently. They just listed it with one of the property management companies I do work for & they told the owner if they wanted to get a tenant in there it's gotta look presentable. I get alot of these this time of year. $$$$

Isn't it amazing that these beautiful houses are out there and just sitting there?

You gotta wonder if the lawn is falling into disrepair, how is the rest of the house doing?

What is your view of what property management companies do versus what a lawn care business does? Do you think its something you would like to offer in the future?

Or would you ever like to get into real estate in the future and rent out homes yourself?

I think property management might be a PIA but I would love to have the capitol to play in real estate. I think I could do very well with it. But I gotta build the wealth 1st to play in the big leagues later!

Well, I do wonder. Say you offered 'property management' services, could you somehow perform them for a % of ownership of a home that was rented?

You don't need capital when you can leverage other things, like your skill set and business infrastructure.

Maybe this could spark some ideas.

A percentage of ownership? Like ok I'll manage it but I get 10% when you eventually sell?
