I was just curious what you did, I see my local Parking lot sweeper companies with 1 guy in the truck and 1 guy with the blower, blowing everything from out of corners and islands and such.

As alot of you know know about the Parking Lot plus mowing contract I got awhile back. Now the word has spread about the quality of my work I have been getting more calls from other plazas wanting my service`s. I have a hands on cleaning for these parking lots and I am doing much better then the parking lot sweepers they have hired in the past. I do know for a fact that I will not be doing any res, accounts this year. I have set up deal with Clarks Landscaping ( from the forum) he lives near me for him to do them. I will be working on Commercial Only! You guys should try to offer your service for Parking Lot cleaning. BUT remember pick up all paper even if its very small. That makes a difference in the quality of your work and it will be noticed. I have 3 parking lots I am doing now for $1,600 a month per parking lot. My Goal is to get total of 15 by the end of the summer. Not going to be to hard where I live. x $1,600 a month x 15 see what you get. Now you can understand what kinda money there is to be made.

Rodman
yeah i live here in a big city also and we have the parking lot sweepers going around.

Its a funny thing though, y do they call parking lot sweepers out to clean and the results are crappy, lol. Proably cause they are sitting on there bum in that squared truck, to lazy to get out and do the job right.

I mean come on you have corners to get, flower beds, sidewalk and parking cub, and much more that they cant get to.

I will be going around town and asking business owners about me coming out and cleaning/picking up trash, cig butts, and all on foot, and out beat vac-u-sweep,lol

Sounds like a sweet deal.... not to sound ignorant, but we dont have Publix around us... im assuming its a food market?? Maybe not quite as big as the depot???... And you basically walk the property every other day picking up trash??? How long does each job take? How many guys?? Whats your hourly rate? Lots of q's... but this is something we could do!!
thanks
j

Hi Rodman,

Could you show us an overhead satellite view of the size lots you are talking about? I think that would help a lot of us visualize what you are doing.
