Can you imagine how wild it will smell! All that chocolate! I bet it will smell great!

If you like this product I bet you could market it and get a lot of new business with it!

I look forwards to seeing your pictures.

I have never even heard of using it.... I would recommend at least an inch... but that's just me...

Just read this on Hershey's website, too....

Waste shell from the extraction of chocolate from cocoa beans has been used for over 30 years as mulch for roses and a soil amendment for flower beds at Hershey Gardens, Hershey, PA. Cocoa shell mulch slowly decomposes and contains approximately 2.5% nitrogen, 1.0% phosphate and 3.0% potash. Analysis of cocoa shell mulch by the Auburn University Soil Testing Laboratory revealed it to be high in specific conductance, soluble salts, phosphorous, potassium and magnesium; but low in pH, nitrogen and calcium.

Advisory: Cocoa shell mulch may be harmful to animals, if ingested in sufficient quantities.

I had a customer who put that down. As I was mowing i was hoping she was coming out with some chocolate chip cookies. The smell didnt last long and it blows away easily if you have to do fall leaf cleanups. It starts out fluffy but drops down once it gets wet.
