Here is a Christmas decorating idea for Tiger Time Lawn Care. Maybe this could help them expand.

Lee could have his staff dressed up in Santa Helper outfits as they decorate homes with holiday lighting.

Check out what Christmas Decor's average sale is $1,255 ! Maybe this is something worthwhile to look into!

Franchisees get paid to decorate homes for Christmas - Christmas is just around the corner. And one national company is looking for people in the Lancaster area who might be interested in spreading some holiday cheer - as a career.

Christmas Decor, a franchising company that decorates homes and businesses during the holiday season, hopes some seasonal business owners buy into its niche, as a way to generate revenue during the winter months.

Franchisees put up and take down decorations and store them until the following season. Clients pay for the service.

Moore said the average price for the service is $1,255.

Lawn care business tips
Here are some costume ideas the staff could wear. This could be a lot of fun and really get everyone into the Christmas spirit!

Or maybe here is another one.

Or another

You can find many more, just do a search for Mrs. Clause or Santa helper Costumers.

You could also make some great marketing material with this concept.

Checked into this. It is fairly costly. The Franchise fees are well over 10k. With the requirement that you invest another 10k-30k in the startup. They say in their ad that they will finance, but there is no mention when applying or even a way to address their financing. So the way I see it, if you don't have an additional 50 grand lying around this year, at least the franchise idea with them is pretty hard to accommodate. Most of these decorating franchises are about the same, at least 10-20k needed to get started, then you have to pretty much buy as you go. Would love to get into this during the slow winter months. Anyone else out there have any contacts or information on less expensive startups (other than going to Home Depot, etc. and buying all the items, and these are not commercial products, so that isn't so great either). Would like to hear from anyone that has more info.

When you sit there and think about it. Here you already started a lawn care business. You know what it takes to start a business. Am I over simplifying things here or could a lawn care business owner simply purchase lighting and hang it as needed?

What would they really need a home decor company like that for?

What's the downside to just doing this yourself?

Hey, Gopher, I think I agree with you on this.

Other than materials, what do you need for this business?

1) Creativity - Landscapers are creative. We know theories of placement and how to put visually appealing concepts into practice.

2) Tools - Ever met a lawn care guy who doesn't have a tall ladder and a hammer?

3) Customers - Lawn care companies are in the business of building customer trust on their property.

Christmas decorating seems like a natural extension of the lawn care industry.

Need high quality decorations? Check this: http://www.manneco.com/

Hi, tried to get a catalog request through your site, but it does not go through. Can you tell me another way to get a request to you? I don't want to post all my information on the forum here. Thanks.

Hi: The Manneco site is NOT my site. I'm not affiliated with them in anyway. I just saw it on the web.

Thanks.
