The mow-aerator?

Crap. I subscribe to the thoery that core aeration is the ONLY way to go. Good idea... poor execution... although, it will probably do well with homeowners.

I wonder how that would handle going across a side walk or driveway?

The weight of the mower would probably bend all of the spikes... so you'd have to put them on and take them off on the turf.... more trouble than it's worth if you ask me.

What i like about it though is that they are creative. Someone out there is experimenting and its fun to see.

That thing looks straight out of a Mad Max movie...bitchin' bad *** cool!
So...have you tried it? Results? It looks like it could double as an ice-breaker, then attach your plow for snow/ice removal. To be used as an aerator tho, seems like overkill and way dangerous to put on and remove unless of course you are in to sado-masochism. Just joking!
Can you give it a go and cam chord it, then post it for us to see?

I don't think anyone in this forum owns a set. That pic is one that Steve pulled from somewhere else on the 'net.

My z-turns will rip up wet grass, put those death spikes and i couldnt imagine. Plus you cant charge for true aerating because the spikes are only under the tire. Lastly production, taking it off and putting it on before each lawn, going over walks, damage to irrigation. I wouldnt take that thing for free. I use walk behind aerators for small lawns, and i have a JRCO Hooker for wide open areas works great. I charge $99.00 for 5000 sq ft and $25.00 per 1000 sq ft there after. Its one of my great profit centers. I wonder what others charge
