new girl on the block

My name is Michele and I work for Speck & Sons Tree Service. I got involved by helping a friend with some of the business/office work. I made him a web site and created new logos and contracts. When I lost my job as a bus driver it was an easy transition to start working in the field. I love it. Its been almost two years and I have learned so much. I used to try to hide being a girl on the jobsite because I was worried about what "the boys" would think. Now I embrace being the only girl around and wear my pink hard hat proudly. I can run all the equipment from chippers, stump grinders, and dump trucks. Im pretty sure Im the only girl on my street who can drop start a chain saw! I am not as strong as the guys but I see things that they dont.
