Hi Team Gopher,

Yes the Site is set up to take questions from lawn care business owners and homeowners, even though it is a new site we do have members from across all areas of turf management and Proffesional lawn care browsing through the forums to help assist you with any questions you may need assistance with including homeowners.

I myself did 4 years turfgrass management here in Sydney Australia and worked on a golf course for 6 years as a foreman/greenkeeper, I believe that the internet needed more website turf and lawn care related so i decided to throw in the towel and srta the turf talk website.

We have been talking a lot more here lately of the power of myspace to help promote your products or services. I checked out your myspace page for turftalk and you have 822 friends which is an amazing accomplishment!

Do you have any advise to others on how to get so many friends on your list?

With that many friends, what is your view as to why there hasn't been more activity on your forum?

I believe the key to getting a good database of members on myspace is typing in broader keyword combinations in the myspace search related to your target market. an Eg could be lawn Care, why not also try a search for turf care, lawn proffesional, groundsman etc... Think Broad! *

I believe the reason for my forums lacking in activity would come down to way too many categories to begin with which confused people, you cannot go wrong with keeping it simple, it always works. just dont complicate things and KEEP IT SIMPLE and expand it a little bit at a time. In saying that my forums are looking more active now and have been simplified so be sure to check them out below.
