Hello. We are Tiger Blue and we offer limited lawn and turf maintenance (core aerating, overseeding, weed control, pest deterance). *Mainly we are a lawn fertilizer distributorship (Spray Green ** www.getspraygreen.com). *We wish to be an all natural/organic company as much as possible. *This is our first year. To save his soul, Gary quit his middle management job last winter and stumbled around for a while before finding this opportunity. *It is a niche we have found to have a good response. Hi Laura and Gary, Welcome to our site! Can you tell us how you got involved with the distributorship? Is that separate from your lawn care business? How does all that work? I have never heard of them before.

We considered several franchises (Lawn Doctor, Spring Green, and others) before stumbling upon Spray Green. *It was less money upfront with more goodies (i.e. truck). *Plus, it being a distributorship, there's no franchise fees. *They've been offering distributorships for about 6 years, most are in California. *We're in Missouri and the only ones in the region, so far.

An added bonus for Laura's conscious ** Spray Green is a natural fertilizer (seaweed and stuff, not bio-waste) that is a liquid and sprayed on lawns and other plants. *The results on our own yard are quite impressive.

We began earlier this summer with marketing materials supplied by Spray Green, but we want to offer other services. *So we would like to market under our own name and be known as a Tiger Blue Natural Lawncare, featuring Spray Green Liquid Fertilizer.

This distributorship is new to me. What got you interested in a distributorship versus starting your own from scratch?

How do you feel they have helped you in the management of your business?

Did you have previous business management experience?

We wanted the structure of a turnkey operation because neither of us has owned our own business before. Also, we are not experienced in lawncare other than caring for our own lawn. Which we take alot of pride in.

As far as help in managing our business from the owners, we can call anytime and speak with the CEO who has given us guidance on everything from giving estimates to drumming up accounts.

Each week that goes by things are looking better and better.
