Just updated today, there is a new episode of the landscaper online. This episode filmed live at the Somerset Exhibit Center was a nightmare of a time. Everything that could have gone wrong did. That is why the next video after that is the same one featuring a commentary explaining all the problems we had.

Let us know what you think of this episode. Be gentle, its the first time we tried this live.

Also, we have updates on the main parts of the site. The store is now online and functioning, so episodes will be for sale, as well as merchandise, including the Landscaper t-shirts worn in the new episode.

There is also a new entertainment section launched that we call 'Entertainment X'
it will be gaining momentum throughout the year
enjoy

Entertainment X is for all previews and reviews of the entertainment industry. For some reason, even though our site is primarily about the green industry, we get alot of newcomers to the business that like the off-topic areas, and have asked for an entertainment section so here it it. Its more or less for something else to do once you have checked out the new stuff that is primary to the site.

How has everything been going with your new sponsor? How has it effected or changed your filming?

well, as of this time, nothing new has truly begun, the date is March 15th that we are to begin with a new direction for the show. The thing is, they have so many resources and outlets that the possibilities are endless. So far, joining the cast list of the show will be Dan DeMartino who is a specialist in environmental science. He is also ICPI certified, and on his way to becoming a Techo-Pro. Which by the way all of Environmental Design & Management are going through the program as well. Thus far Tone is ICPI certified now and awaiting reviews on jobs to become Techo-Pro. JJ has somewhat refused to educate himself further because of his schedule. He only has 12 months to do so before his contract expires and he will be fired on the spot if he does not comply. You will begin to meet a few of the people in management, giving you a look behind the scenes in all the episodes. The addition of Paver Pete (Pete M. Baloglou) is something we are truly trying to work out. Pete is one of the most accomplished Hardscape professionals in the country. He is one of the lead teachers in the ICPI program as well as others. He has been on tv countless times with legends such as Bob Villa. Now he also works with Techo-Bloc so having him on the show is something we are all working towards. Of course the projects will get bigger, and more complex.
This coming season will focus more on actual landscape projects for the main reason of educating the viewers to the correct way to install these projects. Its amazing how many companies, including our company on the show, where doing major things wrong. We now know the standard applications for these installs, and have the resources to keep updated with all the major advancements in the field.

The more we know the more we find we don't know. Good for you for continuing with your education. I see big things from your company in the future.

I hope so. We still have one more major certification to get under everyones belt, and that is for retainer walls. Its crazy just hom much could go wrong with a wall, and if it does, its insane amounts of money to fix. Will keep you guys updated like usual. Gopher has been our first true fan base since the show started and we will never forget that. As the show picks up steam we will continue to show our appreciation. Thanks for all you have done

Your welcome.

You know I was thinking about another video project that could potentially be interesting.

What if you videotaped your daily operation. Incluing the interaction with each other and the clients. It could be like a green industry version of Orange County Choppers. The more craziness and real life drama involved in the video, the more people could associate with it and want to watch it.

I dont want to spoil anything, but if thats what your looking for as an addition to the show, you wont be dissapointed with season 2. Techo-Bloc also requested that as well, and we have more than we need to throw in. You can expect a great deal more footage in the next season to show what really is going on between the cast at all times, as well as there interactions with clients, and other green industry professionals

Good for you!

When you do your advertisements, it would be interesting if you could include your company is featured in the television show "The Landscaper" and then have some sort of screen capture. Then maybe even leave a dvd with a customer to see your show in action.

Another thing you could consider is getting it on cable public access. To do that, you would just have to make sure you weren't blantantly promoting any products. You could potentially edit any shows that had that in them for use on the broadcast.
