Organic Fertilizers and Weed Control

As we are switching to almost exclusively natural products, I was wondering if anyone had any favourite organic products. I found some information here: Extremely Green and was wondering if anyone had specific preferences or opinions on organic products. Also, with pre-emergent organic weed control, I've had varying degrees of success using corn gluten either in the fall or early spring, anyone have any other products/techniques they use?

I looking at the Home Hardware catalogue the other day and they have some. I'd figure i'd support my local Home Hardware and buy their natural fertilizers. Thinking of offering this as a new service this year and see how it goes

I recently checked into this, With a standard residential lawn/landscape license in florida you can apply most fertilizers, liquid or granual. Though you can not do pest control. A limited L&O license can be attanied from the state after taking a few hour course & a test that will allow you to use round up type products for minor spot weed control. Beyond that you need a full pest control license. I plan to get my limited license soon & also want to start offereing fertilization though my knowledge on the different fertilizers is pretty limited as of yet. I'm reading everything ICan get my hands on to research it, I refused to go off half ****ed & start offering a service I know nothing about ya know?!

If anyone has some suggested reading material for this please let me know!

We don't have any licenses like that here; the only restrictions are on certain chemical pesticides.

I have been useing AGgrand Organic Liquid Fertilizer, It is bone meal from fish and kelp. It doesnt smell at all and works great. I'll list a link to them. If you dojn't know the ins and outs of organic I would suggest you read and learn as much as possible before you try and sell this type of service, I have closed 100% of all inquiries about Organic, so I have added over 50 customers in the last 2 months. I started studying about it and search out 10 different organic producers over 7 months ago, before I selected AGgrand. I came across this company (Terracycle) in my accounting class when we were doing a feasibility analysis for their launch of a couple new products. Not only do they provide a good product, but they've really taken the green idea to a whole new level with the production and packaging process.

I haven't tried any of their products yet, but I'm gonna stop by Home Depot and take a look. They can be purchased at Wal-Mart also I believe. They're also a great example of generating free publicity through the media, etc.
