Lawn Maintenance / Lawn Renovation
A great way to talk about all things lawn care related. Grass, turf, shrubs, trees, aeration, fertilization, reseeding, hydro-seeding, mowing, grub control, chemicals and pesticides. Ask questions, give answers. Grow!

What to do with waste?

I am curious of those that bag lawns, what do you do with the lawn clippings afterwards?

Either give them to the customers for a mulch pile or dump on the property somewhere, haul them to the recycle center for city mulch pile, or put them in my own mulch pile for the garden. Also have a local builder who will take clippings for his mulch pile for his garden.

I take them to a friends property who has a bulldozer and hkeeps turning them until it is basically dirt. Before this I was lost as what to do, the city I live in will take them but not from companies. I tried to just lie to them but a whole truck full of clippings every week was too much.lol
