I am a Ohio Certified Nursery Tech "Landscape" and have been for 2 years. I think it does help give the industry a better name for itself by increasing service/install quality. Also as more people begin to get certified the customers will become more aware of the "true" professionals that exist and how they care about the well being of the industry.

I wear a pin, I can use OCNT after my name which draws questions and then I use the certificate in my presentations which works well.

I also have a sticker in the back window of the trucks saying that we employ OCNT's but you have to be careful because your company cannot be certified.
