Well guys what do ya think? Other than an obvious mispelling of the word "ENJOY", we corrected that. Got the Logo done for a $25.00 set up fee and $5.00 for a vector image format file. The designer at teh local print shop was awesome! He tweaked my Flyer put the "free estimate" in RED and made "dot-Dash" coupon borders and put the "coupon" color in Green!

Already have my first client from the flyer and its only 2 days old. I flyered two streets in my area. A homeowner is moving and needs his lawn maintained until the house sells!

I paid $168.00 for 1000 printed on card stock, at the local print shop!

So how do ya like it guys?

Lawn care business tipsLawn Care Business Book
Hi Brian,

Ok you caught the spelling error. I couldn't tell if some of those i's were L's. Also I suggested an expiration date.

I do like it.

How are you handing them out? Where do you put them? Do you knock? Have you talked to many people?

Any thoughts on jotting down a lawn cut fee as you hand them out?

Thanks for putting it in a better format for all to see. I just had it in Adobe PDF.
The "i and E" errors must be a product of the file format. On the Printed version those are correct. Also I used the general slogan from the flyer template I modeled this on. I am thinking of a good Slogan to use. like: " PILOTing the way to your Greencare Sucess" or something like that.

I didnt want to put an expiration date because I need them to be used throughout the summer and I might use them next summer who knows.

My roomate Jon, is getting all sorts or leads for me. He mainly knocks on doors to sell for the Tree Company, he also does collections for the Tree company. He just inserts suggetions into the conversation and hands them to the customer.

Tonight he called and left a voicemail. He sold a tree job for $1700.00, he gave the customer my flyer. The customer is interested in light landscaping and lawn restoration or possible Sod installation and lawn maintenance.

I do write info on the back. my first customer, I sopke with him in person, we shook hands on the deal and I wrote down the cost figures on the back.

I intend to get Gopher software sometime. For now I am using ArborGold, as thats what the tree company uses. So I will just make invoices from that, past into Word and edit, then Print and send them out.

I would have put "Limited time offer" or "offer may exp. without notice"

just my $0.10 (with fuel prices 10 cents dosent get you much anymore..lol)

But over all its nice.

Thanks guys for all of the input! I realy appreciate it. My inspiration for the flyer was from one of the templates. I have been blessed to live in America, where for atleast a few more years...we can go and just "do it", because we can and because thats the spirit we inherited!

Hey AMW,Tony right? Do you think you could get me a quote on some magnetic signs displaying my logo and the free estimates, and phone # ETC.?

I am practically "kin", coinsidering I grew-up in the south western corner of Livonia. Pretty close to Warren. Infact, I used to be a crew member during the summers, we cut grass for the Shell station right off of Michigan Ave and I-296.
Pretty close to the Warren Assembly Plant. I'm pretty proud of the Ford 150 and SUV line being put together in my backyard, although I am a DODGE man ...lol

Anyways, can you get me a quote for a package of whatever!
