Lawn care business tipsLawn Care Business Book
HAHA.

Yeah man I've been busy as ####! *
Phone hasn't stopped ringing... *I'm landing a ton of new residential accounts & makin' money.

April was the best month I had had in business, til may!
June is looking better. *I picked up 2 new accounts today.

(one of which called at 7 am this morning, I was there by 10 am to give the estimate, & went back around 1 pm to mow it for the 1st time. They paid 6 months in advance & paid me a few bucks per month more than the contract they signed. *I asked why they wrote the check for more & she said my husband & I both got a good feeling when we met you & want to help you and your business, plus ya did a nice job.)

Then a customer I did an estimate for 3 days agocalled with the go ahead. *I've been doing alot of work for my property management companies too. *All in all, things are good.

Thought the usual mower issues.... broke a $90 belt last week. *$45 battery died today. *This after noon I did all the usual maintenence on my ZT... changed oil, filter, Hydraulic oil/filter, lubed, sharped up several sets of blades etc.

Yes my bald head shines in the sun...
But no, I don't swing that way Jamie.... *you need to visit that website of yours for that.

Hi Chuck,

Congratulations on all your success this year! What would you attribute all of this positive activity too? What should the new lawn care businesses who are just starting do to get where you are at?

I suggest they: Work their ### off, do a good job & pay attention to what advertising is working & what isn't. Spend more where it is & drop the ISN'T. lol

Carry business cards all the time & give them out everywhere too.

NOBODY CAN DO BUSINESS WITH YOU IF THEY DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU DO.

It's that simple. So when times are tough & your broke, If you need more customers then you'd better find a way to let a whole bunch of new people know who you are & what you do. Advertise/market your business.
