I think we talked a little about using Skype before, but does anyone use it? If I wanted to do more interviews and have discussions with different forum members, can you get multiple people on a skype call at the same time? Can it be recorded as an mp3?

You can get up to 24 people in a conversation on Skype..

All you have to do is click on conference than just add the people you want to talk to and it will automatically call all those people

my buddy and I use skype... hes up in north Jersey, and Im in south Jersey... he does computer networking, and hes one of the guys I bounce some business ideas off of... if fact, with discussing the clothing company with him, it turns out one of his other buddies is the it guy for south pole clothing... so hes gonna help me out a little bit.. but skype is great... espectially that I can talk to him for free.... nothing is free anymore!!!

This is fascinating! What type of headset devices do you use for this? Or do you just use a mic and speakers?

I just use a headset

Headsets

Just talk in the microphone and listen with your ear phones at the same time....

That's what I use to talk to Luke to help him with his website

Have you ever experimented with recording calls for podcasts?

Also how is the quality with conference calls?

Had a conference call with the guy 3 hrs from here and it was pretty clear. The guy was on webcam and it was awesome.

yeah... the macbook pro come with a built in Isight and honestly, I downloaded it an two mins later I was talking to my buddy... I can put ipod headphones on if my wife is sleeping.... setup was unreal, and were all wireless (which I was nervous about), but since mac is the way to go...lol Steve.... nah... just a really good free service
