Hey everybody. I have decided to start offering a service to homeowners who are trying to sell their home. (They will pay me for a year of lawn care and snow removal that will begin on the date of closing.) I am wondering if anyone else has tried this service? How did you get it started? How did you charge the customer and what kind of payment options did you set up? And anything else you have to add. Thanks everyone!

Yea I did see that flyer (That's where I got the idea) I was just wondering how people have figured out how to charge people for the service.

just extend the math out... base your cut number on the amount of weeks you cut this year...say 35 cuts @ 35.00 each... thats $1125.00... say $40.00 per app for fert... @ 7 apps... thats $280.00... figure in your leaf cleanups... 2@$150.00... thats $300.00 so now you are at $1705.00... to seal the deal give the a 10% off discount... Id stay away from the snow removal service... because what if we have a terrible winter?? Leave out the mulch too... you can upsell the new client.

Offer them a home depot/ lowes gift card with purchase (OR 10% off)... also make them feel that the value of the service exceeds the cost they are paying and also how valuable that is to a new mover... to not worry bout the lawn for a year...
