Love the Shine on that Escalade!
I would like to see more pics of interior and Engine bay (if you clean them too).
For me its just a hobby, detailing my Civic and the Tacoma on the weekends, but never thought of making money out of it.

Do you know about a forum for car care/detailing?

Thanks.

My former roommate just had his Range Rover detailed (I know...I have rich friends) and it cost him $250, so there's definitely some money to be made in that. They spend a good 7 hours on it.

Hi Jeremy,

What's your view as to why not scale up the detailing business instead of the lawn care business?

Which do you see as having the bigger potential? Which do you enjoy more?

You do great work by the way.

well lol like i said i live in a retierment type community so they see the lawn care trailer outside they i know im runnin it out of my house then if i did auto detailing (more then now) then im affraid the town is gonna be all over me they already said somethin once about delivery trucks coming here cause i buy my chemicals by the 55 gallon drum it last along time but the fact that once or twice a year i have a straight truck parked in front of my house they are very picky here in this community
if i got a shop then i would never make it the over head is just way to high then kids to the sitter etc. etc. it just would not work for me where as the lawn care i basically can work around the kid's schedule
dont get me wrong i totally do wanna open up a shop really bad but i gotta wait a couple more years on the little ones
i have tottaly thought about getting like an astro van and going mobile detailing but man gas prices wow the boys over seas get enough from me nowevery day when i stop at the station im probably paying enough to feed everyone in iraq
i think going mobile i could get a lot of business cause right now its word of mouth and the few busiess cards i have givin out if i go mobile then i have a rolling billboard and more plp will see me plus there is not the first mobile detailer in my area

******PLUS******
hopefully by the end of summer i will be going chemical free so no chemicals except buffing compound and wax
i will be cleaning every thing with steam which is a definate plus for customers who just dont like the smell of all the chemicals
then the added advantage is its great for allergy suffers which is the biggest advertising campaign i think i could ever have cause plp dont relieze how many allergies are just in your car how much of your day is spent in your car

well theres alot more for every one i would love to hear everyone's opinion on all of this
