Can someone tell me how i can insert a picture on a ad for my services? Im wanting to put up one of my flyers on craigslist.

Hi Jesse. You should be able to host a picture somewhere on the internet. Like post it here. Then in the craiglist ad you include the following html code. Code Sample <img src="http:gophergraphics.com/your-image.com"> [/quote] This should work. Make sure the location of the image file is inserted between the quotes. There are two (at least) ways to get a picture to post on Craigslist.

1) Add an html image tag like Steve suggested.

or

2) After you type your lawn care advertisement, press the "Add/Edit Images" button. Browse to the picture's location on your computer and upload it directly to Craigslist. They host the picture so you don't have to.

Steve, that Skype function we used the other day could be very handy when a question like this comes up. Imagine being able to jump on his computer and showing him exactly how to do this right before his eyes.

I tried the html tag and it didnt work. And when im writing up the ad, there is no option to add a picture/image. Im trying to put my ad in the "services" section. Should i be putting it somewhere else?

ps. let me see if the html tag will work here.

ya see, i get the same thing with craigslist, just a question mark shows up.

ok, i tryed it again and still no luck. When i bring up the page that allows me to edit it, i can see the image, but when i look at the actual listing just a ? shows up. Heres the link

Here is mine working....here is what I did.
1.I uploaded the pic into a private folder in pics on myspace
2.Go to the pic right click then left click properties
3.Right click on the address url select all then copy
4.http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_do_....nt.html

Save your flyer as a gif or jpeg
Then go to photobucket.com or allyoucanupload.com
upload the pics
then copy and paste the html into your craigslist ad

allyoucanupload.com is the easiest because you don't have to make an account.
