We are about to vote on new politicians around the country. One thing that is on everyone's mind is how can taxes be lowered.

Well, this is something that could actually put you and your business in the spotlight. What if you offered to adopt-A-Park. You could contact your local council members and offer to maintain a certain park in your town and in return you could have a sign put up to promote your lawn care business. Then in your marketing material, you could promote that you provide this service to the town free of charge in order to help and give back to your community.

What's your thoughts on this?

City Council candidates: How they answered - "You're obviously going to have to set aside a certain amount of money because it's an important need to take care of," she said. "I'm not suggesting we neglect the park, but, hey, maybe we don't mow the lawn as often or we have a volunteer come in and take some of the cost off of us."

Lawn care business tips
hey thats a great ideal. BUT ive notice alot lawn care companys there they can not doing anything for free. Unlike me I dont think that way. YOU have to give back to your community. Can not always take and take and take.

When you think about it. If you want attention for your business, it's going to cost you.

If you want to pay for advertising, you got to work to raise money to pay for it.

There are other ways of doing it. As we are talking about here. You can leverage your time to get attention for your business as well. When your business is new and you don't have any extra cash but you have some extra time, this is something that you can do to build awareness of your business. This is also something great to do when you are larger to build goodwill in you community.

What if you were able to get the naming rights for the park for as long as you maintained it?

This is something Tim's Lawn and Landscape Service was able to do.
