I think this idea's time has come. Can you imagine having your vehicles monthly payments covered by signing up to wrap your vehicle?

Or if you wanted more advertising for your business, to pay others to wrap their vehicle?

What's your view of this idea?

Your Ad Here, on My S.U.V.? And You’ll Pay? - Some companies pay millions to have their logos on Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s racecar, but others prefer to pay Brian Katz $500 or more a month for space on his Ford Expedition.

Mr. Katz, 32, of Manhattan, is one of the tens of thousands of motorists who have signed up to have their cars and trucks wrapped in advertisements in exchange for a stipend up to $800 a month.

Lawn care business tips
Wow I like it. I have on many an occassion been sitting at a stop light or in traffice and saw someone advertising their business on their vehicle and when I needed that trade skill having that persons business come to mind. I personally feel regarding this and having three completely different business' that the more your name is out there for the public to see the more likely they will think of you when the time comes for them needing of the service you provide and remembering they saw it on a vehicle or some type of advertising.

Where I live there is a box truck that is built with 3 rolling billboards that turn every 30 seconds. The truck drives around all day. Quite interesting to see. You may be able to Goole the company. I think it is called Mobuli

I think you summed up my opinion of marketing. Letting the world know you exist and are in business.

Anything we can do to get the word out is great and we can never do enough.

That's a great idea.

I do have one question about it though. If you have significant advertising on a vehicle, (other than bumper stickers) I think the vehicle is supposed to be registered as a commercial vehicle...along with commercial plates and commercial insurance costs. Can anyone confirm this?

It looks good though. I can also imagine lots of non-advertising designs. What about someone owning a ford escort and wrapping it to look like a mercedes?

You know that is a very good point. Because I would think, even if you weren't advertising your business on your vehicle, your vehicle is generating money and is a commercial venture.

That is a very good point. I don't know how this is resolved. Maybe the vehicle is simply registered to be commercial?
