Rockin marketing idea

I thought this was a totally rockin marketing idea. Since it must be tough to get in touch with musicians, these guys marketed to the roadies first. Then when the musicians saw the cool clothes the roadies were wearing, they called Dirt Bag clothing. The musicians then got free clothing and wore it when they played. Later the fans saw the musicians wearing the clothing and wanted to wear it too. Could something like this at all apply to the green industry? Dirtbag Clothing - Dirtbag Clothing, went backstage at music events and hung out with the bands’ road crews. They gave away free clothes to the crew, which exposed musicians to their fashion. When the bands asked for clothes, Dirtbag “comped” them. The company also emailed 4,000 music groups and offered to supply stage clothes. Dirtbag’s revenues grew when audiences saw their designs at hundreds (maybe thousands) of music performances.

Lawn care business tips

Sure it could, that's marketing. If you have a really cool shirt that all your employees wear, you should have extra on hand to give to your customers. It's a small price to pay for advertising which we all know can cost alot of dough, but what does a t-shirt cost? I look at t-shirts, jackets and hats etc... as marketing tools if your customers are wearing them people are seeing them same as your employees wearing them and shirts are easily spotted because the imprints are generally large. This all goes back to having an identifiable unique logo, if you logo stands out your business stands out.

When was the last time you saw a company uniform that looked cool? Or what has been your favorite?

The last thing I saw which was not really a uniform but was t-shirts a drag racing team were wearing and the art on them was very impressive and the silk screening was of a pretty high quality. Unfortunatel alot of unifroms/ shirts and things like that are uaully not very appealing in my opinion. But then againg it all starts with the company identity if you have a poorly designed logo/identity all things related to that will be unimpressive.

That's interesting! All the race car companies seem to really embrace great graphics.

It makes you wonder, why couldn't a lawn care operator have a uniform that was similar to that of a Nascar team?
