I like this lawn care business name "Busy Bee Lawn Care." How about their logo? What do you think of it? And then they carry the theme along when they say, Give us a Buzz. Check out the back of Ashley's truck. I like the window graphics.

What's up guys! Ash Brooks here...I did a backlink dig and found that my logo was posted on this forum - I'm flattered to say the least

Is the participation and reply time better in this forum that in **ahem** "other" bulletin boards?

I hope so, I have so much I'd like to share with new guys and learn from veterans.

Quick question - I get a notification in my outlook inbox of reply to topic, but the link is not a hyperlink. I don't have a "turn on link" bar at the top either like on IE.

any idea how to get this to come to my inbox with it hyperlinked properly?

Welcome to our forum! I love your site. You really present a friendly and welcoming image! What got you to promote that on your site? Did you do that just starting out or did that evolve over time?

I am guessing a lot of other lawn care operators in your area don't project the same welcoming attitude.

Yes, you're exactly right.

A positive attitude, marketability, fair pricing, and communication are what we have that the others don't have (ie: the larger companies who's workers often don't seem to want to talk )

Also: email billing and email communication - ALL of my customers are billed by email. They love it (and so do I come billing time).

Also: Whenever they need something done, they email me and I put it on the schedule.

I can easily upsell with all my customers on email. If "pinestraw" pops into my head one day, I just email the customer, present the cost and the vision of how this will benefit them, and bam.

Anyway, I don't know it all - what can I do to my site to increase traffic and appeal? Does it load quick enough? Any tips?

Did you start off like this or did you scale it up as you went?

Also, do you find yourself doing much community work? If so could you tell us about it?
