I have had chance to see and test this HTML editor. Its called CoffeeCup HTML Editor.

It has the capabilities of two editors in one application as it edits your code as well as works as a WYSIWYG editor. If you are a beginner and are interested in learning HTML though do not have the expertise to develop complex websites, you could use the drag and drop feature. The visual editor helps complete your work and you could go and check the code to learn more. For easier work, you could access the numerous website templates available alongwith 100 DHTML and Javascripts, a DHTML Menu wizard, 25,000 Graphics and Photos including over 1,000 XP Style Icons. There are features which can take care of all your work such as HTML code cleaner, style sheet editor, project manager and so on.
You are left with less work and your wildest creative ideas brought to shape, with an amazing product for life with free upgrades and support. [b][u]

I personally use Dream Weaver. But I feel that is the best HTML EDITOR for the beginner.

Yes, especially when you first get started. HTML can be daunting! Drag and drop wysiwyg screens are fantastic. The more they act like word processors, the easier they are to use.

Looks fairly simple to use... but I also use Dreamweaver MX. Just been using it for so long now, I can't see myself using anything else.
